Make sure that you are able to tighten the gasoline cap. This will prevent the gasoline from evaporating into the air as you are rushing it into the fields. Approximately 145 million gallons of gasoline is wasted every year due to loose or uncovered gas containers. That’s a pretty ridiculous amount of waste so make sure that yours is in good shape and that it is tightly secured before you step on that gas.
This is a pretty basic not to mention simple car maintenance practice which is often neglected by most people, but it can spell the difference between lots of savings to a lot of splurging.
