57% of American car owners will surely change their driving behavior when the price of gasoline hit $4 per gallon. This is according to a survey conducted by Opinion Research Corp. The survey sayd that 91% of drivers are driving less and 75% are maintaining their vehicles better than before because of the increasing gas price. Other options for driving behavior changes includes, carpooling, purchasing more fuel-efficient vehicles and of course making greater use of what we call “public transportation” such as buses and taxis. Doing simple and cheaper vehicle maintenance would not just save gas or money, but will also improve vehicles’ safety and dependability.
